How to view and create a quote?
Manage your sales proposals and create new quotes in a few clicks
Introduction
Quotes, projects, or commercial proposals are at the heart of your sales activity in Qwoty. From the list of projects and quotes, you can view all your commercial proposals and create new ones in just a few clicks.
Access
Side menu: Project > Quotes
View the list of quotes
The list displays all the quotes in your workspace with the following information:
- Project number : Unique identifier in the format PROJ-AAAA-XXXX
- Status : Current state of the quote
- Customer : Company name and primary contact
- Title : Quote name (optional)
- Updated : Date and time of the last modification
Possible statuses
- Draft : Quote being edited
- Pending approval : Submitted for validation
- Changes requested : The approver requested changes
- Approved : Validated, ready to be published
- Published : Visible to the customer in the DealRoom
- Pending signature : Signature in progress
- Accepted : Signed by the customer
- Expired : Validity date exceeded
- Lost : Refused by the customer
- Cancelled : Manually cancelled
Use the search bar to find a quote by its number, customer, or title. The pagination at the bottom of the page lets you navigate between results.
Create a new quote

Prerequisite : Before creating a quote, make sure at least one quote template, a catalog, and a price grid are configured in your workspace.
- Click New quote at the top right of the list.
- In the New project modal, fill in the information:
- Customer : Select the customer company (optional)
- Primary contact : Choose the contact associated with the customer (optional)
- Template * : Select the sales template
- Catalog * : Product catalog to use
- Price grid * : Applicable price grid
- Click Create.
You are redirected to the quote editor to add your products and configure your proposal.

Tip : When you select a
Template, the
Catalog and the
Price grid are automatically pre-filled based on the template configuration. You can modify them if necessary.

Tip : You can create a quote without a customer and associate it later. Handy for preparing a proposal before having all the prospect's information.
