How to manage taxes?
Configure the taxes (VAT, custom taxes) applicable to your quotes and orders
Introduction
Qwoty lets you configure all taxes applicable to your quotes and orders: VAT by country, eco-contributions, local taxes, etc. Each tax can be defined as a percentage or a fixed amount depending on your needs.
✍️

Admin role to access this screen.
Access

The screen displays the list of all your taxes in a table format:
- Status : Active (green) or Inactive
- Type : VAT or Custom
- Country : Country where the tax applies
- Amount : Percentage (e.g.: 10 %) or fixed amount (e.g.: 0,15 €)
- API name : Automatically generated technical identifier, useful for integrations

- Click the ⋮ menu to the right of the row

- Change the tax status (Active / Inactive)
- Save your changes
💡
Tip : Disabling a tax rather than deleting it allows you to keep the history of quotes and orders that used it.
