How to create and configure a currency?
Add a new currency and optionally set it as the default currency
Introduction
When creating a currency, you simply select a currency from the full list of ISO currencies. The full name and symbol are automatically filled in. You can also set this new currency as the default currency for your workspace.

Prerequisites : You must have the
Admin role to access this screen.
Access
- In the left side menu, click Settings
- In the Workspace section, click Currencies
- Click + New currency or Edit from the contextual menu of an existing currency
Select the currency
In the General information block :
- Click the Currency dropdown menu
- Select the desired currency from the full list of ISO currencies (EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, JPY, etc.)

Tip : The full name (e.g.: Euro, US Dollar) and the symbol (e.g.: €, $) are automatically filled in based on your selection.
Set the status and options
In the right-hand side panel :
- Status : Active (available for quotes and orders) or Inactive
- API name : Automatically generated technical identifier
- Default : Sets this currency as the main currency of the workspace

Warning : The default currency cannot be deactivated. To make it inactive, you must first set another currency as the default currency.
Change the default currency
To set this currency as the default currency for your workspace :
- In the Default field, select Yes
- Click Save

Warning : The
API name can only be edited when the currency is created. Once saved, it can no longer be changed in order to ensure the stability of your integrations.
Enter external identifiers
If you use external systems (CRM, ERP, accounting), enter the corresponding identifiers to facilitate integrations :
- CRM ID : Currency identifier in your CRM
- ERP ID : Identifier in your ERP
- Accounting ID : Identifier in your accounting software
Save
Once all fields are filled in, click Save at the top right.
