How to create and configure a Business Unit?
Configure the information, visual identity, and identifiers of your legal entity
Introduction
When creating a Business Unit, you define the entity’s legal information (legal name, address, VAT numbers) as well as its visual identity (logo, colors, typography). These elements will be used in generated documents (PDF quotes, DealRoom) to personalize your sales proposals.
Access
- In the left side menu, click Settings
- In the Workspace section, click Business Unit
- Click + New Business Unit or Edit from the context menu of an existing Business Unit
Enter general information
In the General information block:
- Brand : Trade name of the entity
- Legal name : Official legal name
- Address : Full registered office address (street, postal code, city, country)
Tax identification numbers
Add your VAT numbers or tax identifiers:
- Select the identifier Type according to your country
- Enter the corresponding Number
- Click + to add other identifiers if needed
View related templates
The Related templates section displays the list of quote templates associated with this Business Unit. This information is read-only: the association is done from the template configuration.
Configure the visual identity (Brand Kit)
The Brand Kit defines the appearance of your generated documents (PDF, DealRoom).
Typography
- Heading font : Select the font used for your document headings
Theme colors
- Background color : Main background color
- Text color : Text color on the main background
Button style
- Button background color : Button background color
- Button text color : Button text color
- Button corners : Corner style (None / Slight radius / Rounded)
Block style
- Border : Enable or disable block borders
- Block corners : Corner style (None / Slight radius / Rounded)
- Shadow : Enable or disable drop shadow
Logo
Add the entity’s logo:
- Click Import to upload from your computer, or
- Click Select an existing file to choose from the media library
Enter external identifiers
If you use external systems, enter the corresponding identifiers to facilitate integrations:
- CRM ID : Identifier in your CRM
- ERP ID : Identifier in your ERP
- Accounting ID : Identifier in your accounting software
- Warehouse ID : Identifier in your warehouse management system
Save
Once all fields are filled in, click Save at the top right.
