How to configure the general settings of my workspace?

Set the name, language, timezone, and unit system of your workspace

Introduction

The general workspace settings define the default configuration of your workspace: name, language, time zone, and unit system. These settings apply to all users, who can then customize certain preferences in their individual profile.

✍️ Prerequisites : You must have the Admin role to access this screen.

Access

  1. In the left side menu, click Settings
  2. In the Workspace section, click General

Configure general information

  1. Workspace name : Enter the name of your workspace. This name is visible to all members of your team.
  2. Back-office language : Select the default language of the Qwoty interface for all users.
  3. Display format : This field shows a preview of the number and currency format corresponding to the selected language. It is calculated automatically and cannot be modified manually.
  4. Time zone : Select the reference time zone for your workspace.
  5. Unit system : Choose between :
    • Metric system : kilometers, kilograms, liters...
    • Imperial system : miles, pounds, gallons...
  6. Click Save to apply your changes.
💡 Tip : Each user can customize their language and display format in their profile. Workspace settings serve as default values.

Technical identifiers

At the bottom of the screen, two read-only fields display unique identifiers:

  • Workspace ID : Technical identifier of your workspace
  • Organization ID : Technical identifier of your organization
💡 Tip : These identifiers are useful for Qwoty technical support or for configuring integrations via the API. You can copy them and share them if necessary.
